Marketing Content Associate


Summary: The Marketing Content Associate is responsible for the company’s voice, and how wording and content appears to all outside channels. They will be bridging the gap between the lab technicians and the Burst Biologics clientele. Strong multi-tasking and time management skills are necessary to succeed in this position. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and creative writer, with the ability to craft a company voice that merges the science of biotechnology with a friendly and personable touch.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Content and copy creation including, but not limited to:
    • Product details and descriptions.
    • Social media updates for all channels.
    • Blog posts, press releases, product information pages, and white papers.
    • Trade show mailers, banners, and overall messaging.
    • Newsletters and email marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinating with graphics design team for print and digital projects incorporated images and copy.
  • Coordinating with the video team to ensure a succinct script is available for all projects.
  • Assistance in creation and execution of social media strategy, including proactive outreach, immediate response times, and building an actively engaging community.
  • Acting as the liaison between the marketing team and the lab team; gathering information on latest products, experiments and research, then coordinating information with the marketing team for release to the public.
  • Strategic application of SEO principles and keywords in all web content.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.


  • Extreme attention to detail required.
  • Strong grasp of the English language, including grammatical and punctuation rules.
  • Some knowledge of SEO principles.
  • Understanding of biologics, and ability to translate complex biological information into easy-to-read, engaging material.
  • Managing processes.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Analytical and creating thinking.
  • Up to speed with current and online marketing techniques and best practices.

Education / Experience:

  • BS / BA in English, Communications, Marketing, or a relevant field. Equal years of experience is accepted.
  • 1+ years content / copy creation.
  • 1+ years of marketing experience.
